I first ran the Wicked Halloween Run in 2014. Two weeks prior to the run, I was admitted to the hospital with a rapid heartbeat. After spending a couple of nights for treatment, my heartbeat returned to normal. I was under no restrictions so I was able to run as scheduled. The thing is that I had to wear a heart monitor for the next month and I wore it during the race. Despite one of the electrodes constanly falling off, I finished at 31:45. It was a great day all around!
